Main Street
I bet there are many stories of things seen through these windows.

very interesting looking photo or building.

Your photo today is like a poem, rather like these first few lines of Posey's . .
"Lone Goth, stalwart, crowded, towering, still in mellow strength undaunted,
Giant of earlier days, strong in thew and sinew,
Age creeps on you . . ."

Wonder what the building was used for.

I'm playfully imagining the building would begin it's story with "I remember when Main Street was just a baby... "
It would be so interesting to hear the stories of history that occurred in and around old buildings.

I would love to have seen this building when it was brand new, being used for what it was intended. I am certain no one thought then it would someday look like this and be used like this...makes me wonder which new buildings to us now in town will be the run-down "quaint" buildings to our grandchildren's children...
