dead deer
This is quite a sad photo, but this is what we found in the play ground at school this morning. Thank goodness, the children were sent into the gym since the temperature was under freezing.
I thought we would find a spot where the deer had been shot, but no - not a spot at all. No one knows how it died. Sad way to start a day...

pumpkin
We put this pumpkin on the island in our kitchen, thinking it was a nice decoration. Our daughters had another idea.
I saw them drawing on it the other day. At first I wasn't that happy, but the more I see it, the more I like it. :)

We had rain all night and all day, so nothing was worth taking pictures of. Early evening, though, I saw this from our bedroom balcony. Looks like it's leaving - finally!
