new house
We were considering to move out of town, but instead we are moving to a house three blocks away. It's twice as big as our current house, so we will finally have enough room for the six of us!
This isn't the best shot, but it's the view from the balcony out of our bedroom. It's looking west and the hill you see in the distant is in Oklahoma.

Fairview Cemetery Tour
In the tour there were actors at different graves telling stories of their lives. It was very interesting. As you can see, there were people from all different time periods.

This weekend I saw a wonderful "show" at a cemetery here in Van Buren. I've been under the weather for a day or two, though, so I haven't had the energy to put it together for the blog -- maybe tomorrow.

Tangled in Wisteria
It's out now! (sort of) You can order my book at the publishing's website now. It won't be officially out for some weeks. At that time, it will be found on other websites and some bookstores.
Even though Tate's website says that the book is coming soon, it is being sent now - Barbara ordered one from N.Y. and got it this week.
Also, the audio version is coming soon. I really like how they did it. The man that read it sounds so much better than me! :)

1- Almost all of my poems are written outside: at the side of the Arkansas River during the day or on my back patio late at night.
2- I can't stand to be in a room full of people. (except my classroom full of kids)
3- I really want to sky dive.
4- I love it when it's cloudy.
5- I average 4-5 hours of sleep a night.
6- I hate driving vans.
7- I fall asleep every night watching a DVD of either Seinfeld, Frasier or Cheers.
8- I'm really ready to go back to Europe.

They're having a pumpkin contest at school. Each class is decorating one to put in the library. The theme is "literature." Well, I decided to make my own - isn't Charlie Brown a literature character?
As you can see, I put so much work into this. :)

My book has been finally printed! I got a box of them yesterday - not sure what I'll do with them. It will be a while until it will be on Amazon and other sites, but it can be ordered now on http://www.tatepublishing.com/.
