red wing blackbird
I haven't seen a red wing blackbird for a long time. This isn't the best shot, but he kept flying off. I guess birds are that way.

Walked into my car port yesterday and saw this nest. Had to have been built fast. Today I saw this robin in it. I guess I have to be quiet out there. :)

Main Street
This is a shot of the back of some buildings on Main Street. I always like the "behind the scene" sort of photos.
I didn't notice this until I was downloading a while ago ---- click on the photo, make it bigger and look at the pink sign on the left bottom. Yuck!

Long day! I just got home from a 14 hour day at school. Tonight was for the parent/teacher conferences.
This morning we had a big parade for the 1st grade. It was based on vocabulary -- These are some of the posters that were worn in the parade.

I noticed these last evening. They are next to my car port. I think they are called Japanese Iris. (?) They are beautiful, no mater what they're called. :)
